I started needlepointing right before the pandemic, and it has grown to be far more than a hobby (some might say it's an obsession at this point!).I am lucky to live near by Stitch by Stitch, and it's where my love for needlepointing started when I took a beginner class.

I love stitching ornaments, pillows, and purses. Someday I'd like to do a stocking. I love trying out new threads and stitches, and I'm a self-admitted canvas hoarder. There are always too many good ones! The last canvas I bought at Stitch by Stich was a Taylor Swift Eras canvas, and I can't wait to pick out the fibers for each of her costumes in the store. 

Needlepointing is fun, creative, and therapeutic - it brings me such joy! I always try to visit other LNS when I'm on vacation, but Stitch by Stitch is my happy place and will always be my favorite. Betty, Madalena, Susan, and Mary Ellen have created a community of stitchers where you can always get help picking out threads, talk about finishing, and learn a new stitch.

I'm going to my first retreat in February and hope to meet many of you there!
