My Mom taught me to needlepoint over 40 years ago, but the hobby for me back then was short-lived.

Back in 2018, I was looking for a way to help manage my anxiety, and I decided to pick needlepoint back up. When I started looking online for needlepoint, I was blown away by all the thread and stitch choices that exist because when I learned needlepoint, your only stitch was basketweave/continental and wool threads. I was so amazed, and I dove right in and now I’ve been needlepointing consistently since then. 

I found Stitch By Stitch a little more than a year ago when I took an Eye Candy Cross My Heart class with Stitch Guide by Mary Ellen Winnicki, which I just recently finished.

Then in February 2024, I was lucky enough to be randomly selected to attend their annual retreat at Mohonk Mountain House where I met a great bunch of gals. Go Team 7! I’m looking forward to being back there in March 2025!
