My husband’s grandmother was an avid needlepointer, and when I was in college she bought me a kit from Erica Wilson and taught me how to needlepoint.I am forever grateful to her for teaching me! Unfortunately, my needlepoint projects were few and far between until I moved to Larchmont 20 years ago and discovered Stitch by Stitch in the Village.I have taken classes, received expert advice and become a better and more creative stitcher because of their help! Stitching is the perfect way to relax at the end of the day.I love my holiday displays for Halloween and Easter, but by far, my favorite is Christmas.I have almost 100 ornaments for my tree, as well as stockings, stand-up figures, and a tree topper.I really appreciate the fact that we have such an amazing needlepoint gallery here in Larchmont where I can pick up new canvases and threads, and always get great advice and new ideas for my projects.
